This graduation medal represents one of the most meaningful recognitions I received in high school. My peers nominated me for embodying the Catholic Graduate Expectation of being a Collaborative Contributor. I didn’t apply for it or expect it; it was earned through everyday actions, teamwork, and the way I showed up for my school community. The award goes beyond academics, recognizing someone who works well with others, respects contributions, strives for excellence with integrity, and uses their strengths to support the common good. Receiving it at graduation felt like confirmation that my effort truly mattered.

Throughout high school, I tried to be involved wherever I could. I joined student council for two years, volunteered at events, participated in the arts, and competed on cross-country, track, and badminton teams. I wanted to contribute, support others, and bring positivity to every group I was part of. This medal captures all of that. It is a reminder of the community I helped build and the skills I developed in leadership, support, and collaboration. These lessons continue to shape who I am.
